Great scent - not too strong. The deodorant holds together nicely too. Some natural/non-toxic deodorants fall apart and HWG doesn't. I will repeat my purchases, no doubt.
I have wavy hair that can be stubborn. I have a shaved in part and I comb my hair to one side, so I need something that is strong. Now, this might not be for everyone, but I don’t shampoo my hair everyday. With HWG I have never had an issue with overly greasy hair or flakes showing up after a few days. It’s the best light weight/strong hold that is out there.
The price is right too. If I could change one thing it would be that it came in a recycling friendly packaging. But it’s what I will be continuing to use.
I've been using HWG Fiber for years. Prior to that, I was bouncing around between different brands.. usually disappointed for various reasons. Recently, I found some old brands in my drawer and decided to give them a try again, and I was reminded how great HWG Fiber is.. which led me here to leave this review. It's got a better hold than many of the "firm hold" products on the market, it's ACTUALLY matte finish (I have black hair and so many "matte" products are still shiny in my hair), it smells great.. it's the best.
Hardworking Gentlemen’s Clay gives strong hold without greasiness, washes out easily, and is gentle on skin. Love it!
